Human Concerns

The Human Concerns Committee discerns needs of persons in the parish and wider community, especially the poor, and identifies resources to meet those needs, enlisting the active cooperation of parish members. This committee fulfills the justice dimensions of scripture and our Church tradition, acknowledging that every Christian is called to service and to work for justice. The types of human concerns ministries at St. Bernadette Parish include: 
Bereavement Ministry
Outreach      
Donations of needed items to homeless shelters
Sleeping Bags for the Homeless
Visitation and Ministry to the Sick, Elderly, & Homebound
Parish Health Ministry
Donations of money and household items/clothes for mission trips to Honduras
Donations of cloth/thread for sewing clothes for Honduran children
