The word ‘liturgy’ originally meant a public work or a service in the name of/on behalf of the people.

In the Catholic Christian tradition it means the participation of the People of God in the work of God.

You've probably heard that age-old saying, "When you sing, you pray twice." Music, which is both beautiful and sacred, and which encompasses the richness of our Catholicism is one way we experience Christ and bring Him to others. 

Music is God's gift to us.
It is the art of heaven given to earth.
It is the art of earth we take to heaven.

Our loving God has blessed our parish community with many volunteers who serve as liturgical and music ministers each week at Mass. They actively live out their faith and love for the Lord in their service as:

* Members of the Altar Society
* Choir Members & Cantors
