TRANSPORTATION

DRIVEN TO/FROM SCHOOL
Drivers using the east end of the playground are not to cross the walkway extending from the church corner to the steps, and are to park in designated slots on the lot while waiting. Please enter the parking lot and circle the lot using the drive closest to the school for entering and the drive closest to the road for exiting: ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ALWAYS! The cones are set up to provide a walkway for the students. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH THE WALKWAY! FOr your convenience, a map on how to drive in the school parking lot is included in the Appendix of the Family-Student Handbook. Cars are not allowed on the west end of the playground before school, during the school day, or at dismissal time. This includes during inclement weather, since that is the time when the students tend to run without watching for traffic.

BUSSED TO/FROM SCHOOL
If your child is bussed to school, you should receive a notice from the bus company telling you the time and location of your child's pickup. Permission cannot be given for a student to ride the school bus unless he/she has been assigned to it. Students may not be dropped off at a point other than the one assigned. Parents must assume transportation responsibility for individual exceptions. Bus riders are expected to ride the bus. If for some reason your child will not be riding the bus home from school, the School Office should be notified by parents of that fact.

BICYCLES TO SCHOOL
Students who ride bicycles to school must lock their bikes. Care should be taken to provide a secure lock and to lock the bike properly. Students must walk their bikes on school grounds at all times.

WALKERS
Students are to leave the school grounds immediately upon dismissal. Loitering on the steps and sidewalk has been a source of great concern, and will not be allowed.
