SCHOOL HOURS BEFORE AND AFTER HOURS REMAINING ON GROUNDS RECESS/LUNCH/BREAKFAST
A bell at 7:55 a.m. signals all students to enter the building at Exit 6. They will proceed quietly to their classrooms. The teacher will meet the class at the door to the classroom. A prayer and morning announcements over the PA system will be the formal start of the school day. Any students entering the classroom during or after the announcements will be considered tardy and must report to the School Office for a tardy slip and present a note from their parents. Students eating breakfast may enter the building at the Parish Office entrance at 7:30 a.m. Students arriving after 7:50 a.m. will not be allowed breakfast. Eating breakfast is not a reason for being tardy for school.
Students are not to be on the school grounds before 7:40 a.m. (unless participating in the Breakfast Program) or after 3:15 p.m. If students do not abide by these times, they will be placed in daycare and parents will be billed accordingly.
Students may not leave the school grounds at any time during school hours without permission from the principal. If students are to go home daily for lunch, a written request must be sent to the teacher, who in turn will inform the principal. This request will remain in effect for the year.
Students in grades Jr.K - 5 are allowed a snack. Please follow the guidelines established by the classroom teacher regarding appropriate snacks. Students may purchase milk at school to have with their snack.
