St. Bernadette Parish celebrates 50 years!
In July of 1958, a group of Catholics got together, put up a tent, and celebrated Mass. That was the beginning of St. Bernadette Parish. Now it’s time to celebrate and remember the achievements of those individuals, and everyone who has followed, who helped make St. Bernadette the vibrant and welcoming parish that it is today.
In celebration of our fifty-year history, a committee has formed to plan a variety of events throughout the course of the year. These events are structured so that there will be something for all members and former members of the parish. We encourage and invite you to take part in as many of these events as you can, and to keep your friends who have also been a part of St. Bernadette, informed of these events. We could use your help in several ways:
- If you are a charter member of the parish or know someone who is, please contact Sue and Roger Wargula at (262) 251-7448.
- If you have St. Bernadette memorabilia—old pictures, bulletins, news articles, or anything that you could share with us—please bring them to the Parish Office. Our intent is to display these items in the church gathering area.
